So we get another nice model from GMP/Acme made with Highway 61 tooling. I’m getting a little confused because Greenlight actually has most of the tooling for the old Highway 61 cars and if I’m not mistaking, the list included the Hudson and GL also is releasing models of the C10 pickup in the near future. GMP/Acme has put out 3 or 4 variations of that C10 pickup truck lately. So, are they going to be competing nose to nose as far as quality features and price are concerned? Are they sharing the tooling? Don’t get me wrong, I’m excited to see everything coming together and seeing some of my favorite subjects coming back, but I’m getting a little confused.

Im not sure about the GMP, but the name Ertl, you could find behind brands ( some already gone ) such as Greenlight, Highway 61, Ertl Authentics, Precision 100, any standard Ertl off course, so it is confusing, but look like some family bussiness :-)

I believe it’s all under the Greenlight umbrella, they revived GMP/Acme, now HWY61 tools, etc.
