    Nicely done!

BTW the “Welly/GTAutos – Bugatti Chiron” should not have been included in this list in the first place since it was not released in 2017 and now is further delayed. Clearly a 2018 model if it gets released.

I didn’t love any of these choices. I liked some of them. Even bought a few but only love brings the votes. Maybe I will vote next year. Some tasty offerings comin’……

Thank you DS Team for all the excellent work you are doeing by the years! About this final result, Almost Real deserves to win and I have a feeling that this year we also have a strong battle between this three manufacturers. BTW I love all three in blue!

  4. I didn’t vote because there was not one item on the list of nominees I had any interest in. Perhaps your reduced voting numbers are an indication that others feel the same way.

Perhaps? Did you comment of the preliminary list when we opened it up to the collector base? What model(s) did you suggest for the model of year?

      • Sometimes in life there are occasions where trying to push water uphill is an obvious waste of time. I would have suggested mostly motorsport subjects, and not one made the list of contenders.

Well, AR deserves to win but some question marks may be necessary. For one, it’s not available in Europe. Even more so for the Bugatti: nobody has seen it. So how did it get to 4th place? You also forget to mention that, like last year, the contest was tainted with a flood of votes for the winner somewhere last year. CMC will not be happy with that. But BBR will be very pleased with a deserved 5th place on a diecast minded forum. And I have the Defender from Kyosho on my shelf; a very good effort and issued way before AR, so why only 9th? As for AA, a 3rd place for a 6 year old refurbished model? Really? Will the Aventador S be on this years list? I’m sure it will be second again! (After CMC of course.) But what really boggles the mind is the last place of the Ilario. The 1/18 scale was a first last year form Ilario and came out on top in the review here at DCS. I wonder what would have happened if CMC had chosen this one. Doesn’t that tell us something? Something we can learn from. But it gets my vote. Posthumous.
