Team Amalgam give us a first look at their grey-wear 1:8 Ferrari 812 Superfast. It’s not too often we get an inside perspective to the R&D side of the business. As per Amalgam, the Ferrari 812 Superfast will be done very soon. Look for this on early Q1 2018. If you fancy one look to spend north of the $9,000USD mark.

Amalgam also recently confirmed on their thread at ferrarichat.com that they will be making the Ferrari J50 in 1/8 scale too but not likely in 1/18. I wish I had the money for a J50 in Blu Elettrico.
If I had the money to buy one of these 1/8 scale models, I would expect fully opening. For US$9000, I expect opening hood and motor detail, opening rear, led lights as well. These are just oversized 1/18 MR’s or BBR’s, there is not another $8000 in resin and details. What a rip off!
