Autoart 993 RWB modified and Engine installed.

Even though it's a plastic and spearmint Rhino is actually a Cabriolet, AA version of RWB 993 is best representative of one In my opinion. I guess because it's plastic body, they were able to achieve very realistic tire offset to body fitment. It's just too bad, they decide to seal the engine bay and put in some lame one piece plastic engine. So I had to address this issue of course...
Luckily, AA shut the engine lid with two screws and you can get to them by removing the chassis off from the body( Which is thin as those tamiya 1/24 scale bodies :shame: ) I had to cut away the diecast chassis and terrible fake engine and installed proper air-cooled boxer 6. I also did took the tail lights off from the bumper mounted on the car ,So bumper can be detached and show off the motor.
Few more mods were done as well including painted and trimmed front lip spoiler, painted rims, front rim center is drilled, slightly lowered the front wheels, and clearance the fenders ,so tires do not rub. I think it's much more interesting to look at. Next, I probably remove the 'Spearmint Rhino' decal.

I was a little weary of getting this one.

Where was the engine sourced from?

Hello kickinoutyo, and thank you for your share. I have the same project, in order to match with my 1/18 964 Apple RWB by GTSpirit. Can you tell me more how to remove rear bumper please ?
Thank you in advance !
