1990's S600AMG Sedan

Post by mazspd3jase » Wed Oct 29, 2014 5:30 pm

Here is my latest project(I am still working on the engine bay however).

Image
Picked this puppy up for $40us shipped! I searched for a silver one, but they were double and triple the price WITHOUT shipping. Was a no brainer for me because I love a good project!

Image
Body and newly resin cast AMG Hammer wheels. Body was stripped down to bare metal before primer, color coats, and clear coats applied.

Image
Test fitting ride hight and such.

Image
Reassembly in progress. Note, I have the engine bay tray out at the moment, to make a true representation of a S600. Resin casts of various V12 engine bits are in the process of being made.

Final product!

Nicely done transformation!

I want to take one of the AUTOart 500 SEC AMG and make a street sedan so000o bad. What would you charge? to strip, fill-in roof antennas and paint?

I'm okay leaving it as is. Maybe update the wheels and tires.

Well, maybe, we can work something out between the model you want and the advertising I need…..
I think so!

could be a fun project. I dislike removing Autoart wheels though....sometimes they come off easily but more often than not they are tough to remove, at least in my experience. bodywork would be fairly straight forward.
