Minichamps Mclaren F1 GTR question

Post by Canadian Wrench Head » Wed Dec 17, 2014 10:33 pm

hey everyone.

So i bought the Auto Art Mclaren F1 LM and I LOVE IT!!!

Im interested in the Mini Champs F1 GTR(1995 Le Mans Winner) car. Im just curious if anyone on here knows the quality of it. How does it stack up against Auto Arts Mclaren F1's??

Ive been watching quite a few Youtube videos and it looks great. I just wanna see tho if anyone out there has ever got the chance to see a side by side comparison.

Thanks

Honestly for the price its not too bad. It won't be at AUTOart's level, but side by side on the shelf can you really tell?

I don't know why but these 'unboxing' videos creep me out, and it necessary doesn't need to be diecast related :D

It definitely is a solid piece. I like how they succeed to achieve the LOW ride height for the race car.

Looks good to me, but apparently TSM's version will have the night lights and I'd much rather have that.

Yeah these two lights on the front "hood" flap. Both versions are accurate, but extra lights are always cooler! For aerodynamics sake, they were switched out when night came.

I prefer it without the lights.

I guess I do to, but if you have a bunch of racing versions, the lights version would stand out that much more.

What's the price supposed to be on the TSM...quite a bit more than the PMA, I believe.

Around $210 I'm guessing.
