AutoArt Lexus LC500
Re: Post Your Latest DIECAST Purchase
Nice! Do you like it?
Re: Post Your Latest DIECAST Purchase
Yes it’s great model, well done. Very nice and unique color, pretty close actually to the red Huyara from AA.[KRAFTIG] wrote:Nice! Do you like it?
Only thing is the paint is bit thicker and darker at panel edges so it makes the panel gaps look wider than they are.
Re: Post Your Latest DIECAST Purchase
I just received my white LC500.. pretty blown away with the composite and how different it is with AutoArt's earlier counterparts such as the P1 or 6x6.. Needless to say, I bought another one in a different color to compliment the white better.
The Acura was from Replicarz bad box sale so definitely well worth it

Maserati MC12 (AUTOart Signature)
Re: Post Your Latest DIECAST Purchase
Nice add. Was this one on sale too? I've seen the latest banter on the livery version.
Re: Post Your Latest DIECAST Purchase
No sale on this type but I bought it a bit cheaper anyway.

I got the Vitaphone Racing one at modelissimo for €100. Strangely the prices have gone up after, first to €129, then to €150 and now €200!
Re: Post Your Latest DIECAST Purchase
It seems the price goes up as they reduce the redundant inventory. Both presentation and race version have been reviewed here. I have the presentation in my collection for number of years now. Very good piece!Brecht wrote:I got the Vitaphone Racing one at modelissimo for €100. Strangely the prices have gone up after, first to €129, then to €150 and now €200![KRAFTIG] wrote:Nice add. Yes and it says a lot about their margins on Autoart models...[KRAFTIG] wrote:It seems the price goes up as they reduce the redundant inventory.Brecht wrote:I got the Vitaphone Racing one at modelissimo for €100. I'm sure CK lost money on these. Unless AUTOart was funding the discount to European distributors, which was passed on to retailersAtalante wrote:Yes and it says a lot about their margins on Autoart models...[KRAFTIG] wrote:It seems the price goes up as they reduce the redundant inventory.Brecht wrote:I got the Vitaphone Racing one at modelissimo for €100. My P1 came today. It looks okay, except for the fit issue with the engine bonnet, along the roof behind the driver's side door.
I'm expecting another car tomorrow, and another within the next week. I also preordered something from Topspeed, but have no idea when that's coming. I sold a 918, Aventador SV, Gallardo Superleggera, Maisto LaFerrari and 911 Speedster, and a pair of Bluetooth headphones for some space and money.

Loving this colour. Sorry to hear about the short comings.
