GT Spirit Porsche Boxster Spyder (981) - Red/Silver

This red version wasn't suppose to happen, I actually ordered the white/black Porsche Boxster Spyder and to my surprise when I opened the box the red exterior paint was glaring through the shipping materials. My immediate reaction was to return as mini911.com will confirm, but after taking her out of the box I decided to keep her and forgo the headaches of returning her back to France.

The model is typical excellent GT Spirit execution - paint, wheels and interior details are all top notch. Interior also features carpeting throughout, and I also like the added detail with windscreen and mesh inserts for the headrest. A nice unique piece for Porsche lovers and collectors. Don't think I realized this came in Guards Red...was this an retailer exclusive?

Have to say, I had no plans to buy this in white, but I REALLY like the red. Part of it is the silver wheels. The black wheels on the white one kind of ruin it for me.
