New Hotness from Biante for November 2014
Three new models have been announced by Biante this November, all three will be on shelves in early 2015. The above feature is the 1:18 Holden LX Torana SS A9X Hatchback, driven by John Harvey / Charlie O’Brien for the Hardie-Ferodo 1000 team. The second of two livery cars is the 1988 Australian Touring Car Championship BMW M3, driven by Peter Brock. Last but certainly not least is the 1:18 scale Holden LX Torana SS A9X Hatchback in Panama Green. All models are now available for pre-order, and completed in typical Biante high-quality. Suggested is set at $225AUD.
About the Holden LX Torana SS A9X Hatchback… “Any motor racing enthusiast would be familiar with Australia’s Greatest Race and the 1978 chapter run at Mount Panorama is certainly one of the more famous years of this event’s decorated history. Those in the know would be aware that Peter Brock and Jim Richards won the race that particular year but the story of their team mates in the number 15 car is also worth reading and you can check out what happened during their assault on the mountain by clicking the link above. We’re very pleased to be producing this model which is another piece of the history of the Great Race for collectors to add to their collections.”

These guys truly work magic with their creations, though we can't forget that AUTOart does manufacture the models for them.StratosWRC wrote:OH MY GOD TAKE MY MONEY! THAT BMW, THAT HOLDEN!!

Just to add to this, for anyone outside of australia, the price is smaller as we are not subjected to tax. So for us it's $204.55 AUD or thereabouts, and if you join the Biante collectors club, which is free, you get 10% off!
EDIT: with the club discount and outside of AUD pricing, the BMW comes to $184 aud. Shipping adds 30 AUD for one model, so the total is $214 aud just FYI

Probably not buying it. Too many other priorities atm. Was curious though, cause the list price seemed steep. This is much more palatable

I will get it, but not from Australia. I would prefer the car got to Europe in a bulk shipment to a dealer, and then my poor little packet could travel alone from there. There are too many people handling a single box on its way from Australie to here, and then if I would have to ship it back ... *shudders*

Re: New Hotness from Biante for November 2014
I've ordered from australian ebayers twice and both times the models came in damaged. BUT the first time it was due to the rear clam shell of the model being unsecured, so it came off and destroyed everything, and the second was damaged before it was even shipped. Needless to say I got a partial refund for that one. But I'm still pretty sure it's not the trip that destroys them, but idiot sellers who don't know how to pack.
