American Excellence, Fighting for the Collector?
Our site sponsor is in a bit of a pickle with the North American heads of GT Spirit. As the article states there is pressure to increase pricing north to align to suggested retail ($99.95US to $139.95). The only miss, the increase doesn’t correlate to the European pricing when comparing both. Thumbs up to American Excellence on taking a stance. What are your thoughts folks?
On a lighter note the team at American Excellence is offering 20% of their entire lineup until June 30th

Any company that takes advantage of the American market is no company I will buy from again.

I had a feeling time would prove Klaus’ story to be bunk. The latest two offerings on the American Excellence site for GT Spirit are at $169.95. They’ve lost me as a customer.

Yeah, AE's pricing on GTS and Otto are terrible. I will not pay $120 USD for a car that has retail of $59 Euros. Instead I have 2-3 eBay sellers I buy from weekly. I have been winning new Otto and GTS cars from them for $40-80 USD depending on luck. AE also has the worst pricing on Autoarts. For example their sale prices on Autoart 997 GT2/RS 3.8-4.0 is still 2-3x the sale price of CK. Oddly, prices on cars like BOS are more than fair at $119-129 USD.

If I'm not mistaken, Klaus owns BoS. That would explain that.JamesonsViggen wrote: Oddly, prices on cars like BOS are more than fair at $119-129 USD.
