For those who were going crazy between what to choose - Cayenne or 911?
Porsche is developing Porsche 911 991 in Safari package.
Something like off-road 911 which will remind you of Rally 911 of 70's. Most of all 911 which raced in Safari Rally.
It will have 4x4, wide body and Rally accessories.
Will be shown at Peking auto show next year.

Somehow I am really excited about this one.

Re: Porsche 991 Safari
I don't understand it. Can you post an image if available? TIA!
Re: Porsche 991 Safari
There are no images available yet. Let's wait for Spring 2014.
But to make you understand I will put it in Audi way - it will be like Porsche 911 Allroad.

Re: Porsche 991 Safari
How rare is Golf Country by the way?
I saw 3 or 4 this year.

Re: Porsche 991 Safari
Not sure. What I can confirm it never made it to North American shores. Though I have seen some in recently years, seems people are importing them... Way cool concept In my opinionSanchez wrote:How rare is Golf Country by the way?

Re: Porsche 991 Safari
Yeah, I heard Canada has much more loyal laws for importing old cars than the US.
Re: Porsche 991 Safari
I'm not up to speed, but once they pass the 20 year mark it pretty much a free passage. By that time the car is pretty much useless unless you find a mint condition or plan a full restoration.Sanchez wrote:Yeah, I heard Canada has much more loyal laws for importing old cars than the US.
Re: Porsche 991 Safari
But that's a good thing. There are many great cars from 20+ years ago.
For exotics age is not that important In my opinion as they are well maintained most of the times. In fact often value increases with time.
You can import Skyline R32 or Porsche 964 for example.

Re: Porsche 991 Safari
Many R32/Skyline's in Toronto. I have a friend who exclusivity reprograms ECU's for Skylines, insane power, but it takes a special owner to own one as they aren't the most eye friendly cars

Car sites start to post these news.

If you search "Porsche 991 Safari" in Google Diecast Society reference will be one of the first.
Here's something I would totally buy if I had money but not for requested price:

Re: Porsche 991 Safari
It seems that DS has a great SEO.
I have mixed feelings but I'm curious to see what it will look like.

Re: Porsche 991 Safari
I'd leave a proper META description with specific keywords on the homepage since you have none.
