1) What first got you collecting diecast? How long have you been collecting? What is your total model count as of today?

1:43, 1:18, 1:12 and an old Ferrari 500F2 aluminum (1953) Toschi series to restore, many Ferrari and Porsche models; From when I was child, but unfortunately I didn’t preserved models; I have 130 models.

2) What was your first diecast or memory?

Ferrari D50 1:43 (Brumm), when child I already F1 enthusiast and I got for example March-Ford 701 1:25 (Politoys), Lotus Ford 72 1:28 (Mebetoys), Chaparall 1:43 (Politoys) etc. etc.

3) What is your favourite scale, and why?

1:43 but above all 1:12 because you can see many particulars while 1:18 is very good for transforming.

4) What are some of your favourite models to date? Did you share any photos with us?

My favourite is Ferrari 250GTO for its very beautiful classic line, I enclosed 3 photos of it.

5) Is there a model that has eluded you, a holy grail of sorts?

Ford GT40.

6) What is your favourite brand/manufacturer, and why?

My opinion is best for 1:43 die cast models and CMC for its attention to details.

7) Describe your current theme and what your overall goal is?

As I described in my first forum I worked with Revell as designer of many die-cast models but my goal is to create a transforming and restoring laboratory for all scale die-cast models.

8) Do you display your collection? If yes, how?

I have two big showcases which I clean and keep order.

9) Do you have any other hobbies, passions or addictions?

Yes, from when I was 12 my passion for racing cars F1 and Sports, I remember with many pleasure Ferrari 312PB, Ferrari 512M and S, Porsche 908 etc. Now I’m very enthusiast for technical theme and I remember with many pleasure that models.

10) What do you think about the diecast hobby as it stands today?

From my point of view I can consider me an insider and think of having noted some industry crisis.

11) If you could change one thing about the diecast hobby what would that be?

May be the prices and I would try to make by lighter aluminum die-cast.

12) Do you modify cars? If yes, what are some examples?

Porsche 911SC 1:43 (simply Bburago) with fender extended and new wheels it was transformed in an old GT group 4, now I’m transforming a Mercedes 300SL 1:12 Revell die-cast.

13) What does your spouse, partner or significant other think of your hobby and your collection?

I think, like an enthusiast, that looking my models I remember with pleasure old time and my spouse understand my thought…

14) What is your daily driver?

Sincerely I’m not so glad of driver today for many reasons, but I don’t always think to Clark, Ickx, Lauda, Senna, Schumacher or the biggest Nuvolari I suppose that Alonso, Vettel and Hamilton are the best.

    Nice Collection, but wouldn’t it be nice to have photo captions so that we would know what we are looking at? Scale, manufacturer, provenance, etc.
