1) What first got you collecting diecast? How long have you been collecting? What is your total model count as of today?

I actually I collect only sports and racing cars. but also various classic cars and muscle cars will find a home in my collection.  I’ve always had model cars and have naturally also with Bburago and Maisto begun.   Really a hobby I collect for nearly 10 years and only in 1:18.  Right now I have 355 model cars . And there are always a few more.

2) What was your first diecast or memory?

My first model car was a silver Corvette C1 from Bburago.

3) What is your favourite scale, and why?

My favorite scale is 1 to 18, the details are just perfect and it looks great in the showcases.

4) What are some of your favourite models to date? Did you share any photos with us?

I ‘m a big fan of the old UT (Mclaren / Porsche), AUTOart (Diablo) and Kyosho (Supra / Fairlady / NSX and RX – 7) models. These are just classic and not easy to find today.  I will gladly show you photos.

5) Is there a model that has eluded you, a holy grail of sorts?

Yes, the Lamborghini Diablo Jota of MG models. I could have bought him a few years ago . But back then he was just too expensive. If I had the chance again, I would grab it to me immediately.

6) What is your favourite brand/manufacturer, and why?

At the moment I like Spark. Beautiful cars, great detail and all at a good price. Similar TopMarques. They should just make more in a scale of 1 to 18.

7) Describe your current theme and what your overall goal is?

I like Italian cars. There is still to do so many great models. At the moment I ‘m just trying to complete my Diablo collection from AUTOart.  It no longer lacks many. Recently I finally found the black VT 6.0 and the orange GTR.  The look simply great.

8) Do you display your collection? If yes, how?

Yes, I’ve hired a hobby room for collection. It makes it extremely fun, it just set up the way I’ve always wanted. But I always change something else to try to look at how it affects afterward.

9) Do you have any other hobbies, passions or addictions?

I like to visit car meetings and just spending time with my friends and family.

10) What do you think about the diecast hobby as it stands today?

Not completed.

11) If you could change one thing about the diecast hobby what would that be?

Reduce prices!!!  It is incredible when one of a few years ago compared with today’s prices.

12) Do you modify cars? If yes, what are some examples?

No, I like to buy them as they come to market. Of course I would like to change a color. But it fits most.

13) What does your spouse, partner or significant other think of your hobby and your collection?

Dude, you’re crazy!!!

14) What is your daily driver?

At the moment I am driving an Alfa Romeo 156 GTA. I’m not a big fan of today’s style of driving.  I would like to drive a car and not be driven by car.  If you know what I mean.
