Our first official post for the new year finds the upcoming JP Hobby Toyota MR2 AW11. The model itself is scaled in 1:18 and will be constructed in resin with closed-body design. No word on colour pallet or release date, but we suspect Q2 2018 delivery.

14 years ago I started collecting 1:18 scale models of the cars I’ve owned in the past 35 years in exact the same colours. I’ve had two missing from my collection, a Toyota MR2 AW11 which had proven to be impossible to find until now and BMW 323I E30 which mine was in dark olive green. Managed to find the BMW in white so yesterday I had a go at respraying it. I’m very happy with the result :-)
Everytime I look at every single one of them, they bring back so many fantastic memories 😎😊
