AutoArt, this car would have been really nice in an opening model form!

Agree. Opening headlights, opening hood with that beautiful DOHC I-6, and especially, slats over the backlight, (which is how I remember seeing these) instead of the ugly spoiler on this one. Plenty of differences for AA to capitalize on. It can happen! Make mine in orange.

Yup, but AUTOart is a sleep at the wheel… I asked Jimmy Yee in person to do a lot of the cars that I have started like this one way back in 2002-2006, some stuff so made, but not a lot, so I’m filling the gaps starting with this one. I have to make some corrections, but so far, it’s turned out really well for a first shot!

Wow, this is definitely exciting news. You don’t know how long I’ve been waiting for someone to release this vehicle and in this size. There were many attempts before but it wasn’t serious enough.

Al through, the main design concept seems to be based on the american version, commonly referred to as the MA67 or MKII. I was really hoping it be based on the australian version which is the (MA61) with right hand drive. The rear light covers are different as well. I know that the american version has other numerous variations as well. Everything else (whole front, wing and side flairs) seems to be more or less the same.

Oh gosh, I just love the rear wing LOL.

Wait a minute, what is that indicator light doing on the fender. american version did not have that and either did we. I think you need to do corrections mate. Apart from that, everything else is great and just about accurate. I grew up loving this car and remember many fine moments with it. I will certainly be signing up to buy one.
