Does anyone know the year of the Porsche transporter?
It was used for almost a decade, during which it carried 1960 – 63 Porsche 718’s, the 1964 – 65 Porsche 904’s, the 1966 – 67 Carrera 6’s and the later 908’s and 910’s. Even though Porsche took delivery of two Mercedes O3500 “box vans” in 1967, the M.A.N. transporter continued to be used regularly. In 1970, it was rebuilt in order to accommodate the wider and longer 917’s. In this format it was loaned to Porsche Salzburg to use.
