Solido unveils a classic in 1:18 scale, the AC Cobra 427 MKII in Metallic Blue with White stripping. It isn’t the most detailed example, but the price won’t break the bank, under 50 Euro. Model features diecast metal body and functional doors.

I’ve got a race version of Solido’s 427 and I enjoy it. The proportions look much closer to the real 427 than the Kyosho, and detail wise it feels not far behind. Ofcourse Kyosho has better paint tho, but for the price the Solido is a real bargrain.
I wish there were more racing liveries, and real ones. Like SunStar is doing with Stratos, for example.
