Re: DIE-ssecting of a Resin Model…

And? It's not a surprise what you find underside! and there are much more than 14 parts... 4 wheels, 4 brake disks, 4 calipers and 4 tires etc... What counts on sealed models is what you see, and it allows companies to make models that cannot be done in diecast due to labour cost, etc... Owning a th...

Total Fail!
the first version with normal is correct but this one should have a complete different bonnet (wider, bigger headlight cover. etc...)
And they sell it with the right picture...

We have the GT3 RS made by Spark, Minichamps and GTSpirit... but all sealed resin
And we can probably add Autoart later... but openable!

Re: AUTOart: The Concept Behind Composite Models

Good to see this kind of reaction! Hope they take note and make some corrections! I'm not against composite models as long as they deliver good quality, nice details and correct prices! But they are just making some bad shortcuts... I bought only 1 Aa model in 2016 and it was a Porsche GT1 in diecas...

Re: Exoto XCU 1:10 Project

Why 1/10? Everyone is making 1/8 or 1/12 except Exoto... won't fit with the rest of a collection...
But a Porsche 917 in big scale with all the details would great, but forget about Exoto and their crazy prices...

Re: First Look: BBR Ferrari F40 LM 1989

Or maybe the red car will be based on the first LM car driven by Jean Alesi with n°60, but they will need to correct 2 things on the rear (plexiglas wing support and reinforcment bar on the rear grill)
As Looksmart has announced an impressive list of F40LM, BBR will try to get it out before them ^^

Re: First Look: BBR Ferrari F40 LM 1989

The front bonnet is completely wrong:
front lights are the same as street F40, in fact LM cars has much wider front light cover and the pop-on lights doesn't exist.
the fender has a different shape
and the bonnet is wider on LM cars...
Hope BBR correct this! (sent an email to them...)

Re: How can this be so expensive (resin Veneno)?

Even MR models were 200€ less!
So the Ferrari will be even more expensive due to license...
easy pass! I have a lot of resin cars, but diecast's F40 and Testarossa are more than enough for 99% collectors!
