Re: The cheap end of the hobby
I know, right? It's tough to pass on any 1/18 model at $14, which explains why I have quite a few of those Maistos and Bburagos in my collection. It's really difficult to nitpick anything on a model that's so inexpensive!

Haha! That sounds like the level of confidence I have in my skills.[KRAFTIG] wrote:Nope. If I performed it, you know it wasn't too challenging LOL

Re: The cheap end of the hobby
I'm planning on getting the Bburago Signature 488GTB and 458 Speciale models. Are they the best models available? Of course not, when each is available from BBR or MR. However, in terms of bang for the buck and overall value, I think Bburago and Maisto have come a long way from their humble beginnin...

That looks fantastic. Was it a difficult wheel swap?[KRAFTIG] wrote:I forgot to add, a simple wheel change on the Norev makes it excel

I These models will be listed simultaneously on eBay at a higher cost, so if there's something that interests you, please let me know and I will ...

Re: This Diecast site
I'm glad you enjoy it here, so do I! Members here are friendly and the site is easier to navigate than others. I have the opposite issue in that I don't always have time to enjoy the hobby as much as I'd like, but it's always fun to check in here when I can.

As far as I know, yes. I was hoping TopSpeed would get the Maserati license since they also have Alfa Romeo, but no such luck.

Beautiful Z4, Ram! I have the Space Grey Z4 with red interior, and it's still one of my favorite models. I like these wheels better though.

Re: Jase G's Collection -Collection Update 28Oct2016
Thanks for the advice- on adding carpeting to my cheaper models and on the GT3! Any model purchases will have to wait until after Christmas, and until I unload some of my existing models, but that GT3 is at the top of my want list. I agree about the thrill of making cheaper models look more expensiv...

Re: GT Spirit BMW M4 (F82) M Performance
That looks great. Part of me wants to keep my Austin Yellow M4 by Paragon because I love the color so much, but this would be a great companion for my GT Spirit M3 sedan and M4 convertible models. I'd probably get rid of the stripes as I prefer the simpler, more subtle look of the carbon fiber trim ...

They all look fantastic, but I really love the Riviera Blue one, and that's the one I want the most. Hopefully I can find one after Christmas...no more models for me this month.

Re: Brian's Collection
The Gemballas are great. I never realized there were that many models of them. What I really love is that Ruf RGT 4.2! I just noticed that it's RHD like the GTSpirit 991 Carrera 4S; it's nice to see GTS mix things up a bit. Tough call on the R8s. I have three, and I've thought about selling two of t...
