Re: History of BMW in 1:18
Amazing work you did here must have taken a lot of time. These old AA diecast are gold. Thank you. Agreed - they did good - one of the reasons these models go up in price as time passes. Re: History of BMW in 1:18
I haven't seen pics of the AA E28 for a long time...what a fantastic looking model. I have their E24 M6 & love it & do wish I'd grabbed the E28 as well. My only issue with the model & what kept me from buying it, is I absolutely wanted it to look like the M5 we got here in the US. This meant black ...

Re: History of BMW in 1:18
I'm back - did you miss me? Took me long enough...I was hoping that with me working from home during recent world events, I would have more time for things like this...but no... Was super busy. But enough rambling - next chapter in the History is ready, and I hope you enjoy it! Second generation 5er...

Re: History of BMW in 1:18
Agreed. I call them place-holders until something better is released I'm happy... but in most cases, there may never be an alternative in scale so take what you can get! Right, so often while you think somebody else will make these cars in better detail, these disappear and you left with nothing. G...

Re: History of BMW in 1:18
Wow, another brilliant chapter. Great work sir! A nice plug for OttOmobile, they really fill in the gaps with some unique and rare specimens. And the price is affordable too if you're into sealed models. Thanks! Yes, I'm not a big fan of sealed models, or resin models for that matter - but b...

Re: History of BMW in 1:18
The day has come! Yes, I have finally photographed, edited, and compiled the first installment in a very voluminous E30 saga! This is first chapter of many on E30, as the number of models released over the years is simply astounding. In fact, as I write this, I'm awaiting a package with new E30 mode...

Replicarz buy entire collections, Mark is a good guy. www.replicarz.com
Having said that, you will never get even remotely close to what these would sell for individually by selling entire lot. Just a nature of the beast.

Re: History of BMW in 1:18
Hello again! Finally I had the time to compile another chapter in the History. Today we will talk about the next "major" series for BMW - the flagship 7-series. Due to the lack of models of the first and second generation of the seven in 18th scale, I'm combining the chapter about E23 and E32 into o...

Re: Diecast, Composite, Zamak, Resin... I'm confused
Technically, diecast (die-casting) is a process, not a material. Its literally comes from the description of the process of metal casting that is characterized by forcing molten metal under high pressure into a mold cavity. The mold cavity is created using two hardened steel dies which have been mac...
