Re: Post Your Latest DIECAST Purchase

I also pulled the trigger on the Spark 911 R 3-4 times. How is it? TIA. Yeah, I like it for a sealed model overall. Some would say the wheels are slightly too large, but I think they look decent. These Sparks feel like good quality, but the weighted base really adds to that perception. Detail wise,...

Re: Bruno Z 1/18 Supercar - Hypercar Collection

What a nice collection! I like the color coordination, seems very organized and presentable.

Re: Shipping in the age of CV19

Hmm, I should keep this in mind before ordering from CK. Surely there must be good scale model distributors in North America? I just don't know of any. There are many, check the SPONSORS link above. Thank you, that's good info. I guess I always assumed CK was the best so I never really considered a...

Re: Post Your Latest DIECAST Purchase

Who makes it? What's the history? TIA. Autoart. It's a 1999 Ford Focus WRC. It was the Focus' debut win at the Safari Rally in Kenya driven by Colin McRae. This one is extra special to me because I participated in the 1999 Safari. I actually got this close to Colin... https://i.imgur.com/32P3rmZ.jp...

Finally got a AUTOart 930 Turbo 3.3

What a great model. I used to have a red 3.3, a model I deeply regret selling. Same with a green 3.0 Turbo from Autoart. :shame:

Re: Post Your Latest DIECAST Purchase

1/43 scale Audi Sport Quattro S1 E2 from CMR added to my rally collection. Strange, I did not already have this car, only the non-E2 version.

Re: SPhilli911's 1/18 911s

There are just so many out there that if I did not limit my collecting I would be spending unfathomable money! I do regret selling off the 911 Turbos I had, those I should have kept because getting them all again will be too costly.

Re: SPhilli911's 1/18 911s

Took some photos of my whole collection as it stands now. While it is not a large collection, nor is it as impressive as other members on here, I am proud of it. I collected all the cars I wanted in the colors I wanted and some of these are quite rare and hard to find these days for reasonable price...

Re: My Porsche Collection

As a 1/18 scale Porsche only collector myself, welcome! I like your collection, especially the Le Mans racers. I limited myself to road cars only and am envious of those who have legendary race cars.

Re: 1973 Porsche 911 RSR 24H of Daytona Sunoco #6

I have the road car version of the 2.8 RSR from GTS and had a Solido, so I can't comment on the livery but it's the same model otherwise, more or less. I think the Solido is less accurate and a little less quality compared to the GTS, with the wheels being slightly too large and the steering wheel b...
