Re: Anyone collect both 1:43 and 1:18?
Yes, I collect both, and.....1:24 and 1:12. I also have some various odd scale models....several 1:87, 1:64, 1:14, and 1:16. But the bulk of my collection is in four scales: 1:43, 1:24, 1:18, and 1:12. Different criteria for all, there are a lot of variables. That said, I am VERY selective, so my to...

Re: Do you keep the boxes?
I collect in several scales, and I keep ALL the boxes. It makes a big difference when selling and helps when moving. Even if you think you will "never" sell...... things change. Never say never.

Re: Whatever happened to Unikat Model Cars?
Yes thanks, I was pretty sure they folded... based on what I've seen. I'd be surprised if Tecnomodel bought the molds.... They already made the Mangusta in smaller 1:18 scale, and it wasn't very good. The Unikat had problems too, but was overall a much better model. Maybe they did buy the molds.... ...

They announced a 1:12th De Tomaso Mangusta, in 3 colors. Then later the colors and edition sizes changed. They also announced a few...

Re: Matrix Scale Models Bugatti T101C Exner-Ghia #101506 196
No offense taken, and sorry if you thought I was annoyed - I'm not. I'm a collector too, and have been since I was a kid. There is just so much misinformation out there from manufacturers, dealers and magazines; I find it very frustrating, and it just came across that you were talking down to me a b...

Reply to Flathead from this in the News section. I appreciate your answer about producing models, but for me.....I more than understand the model car industry. I have been involved with it full time, since the early 1980s as a manufacturer, dealer, broker, builder, and consultant. Models in numerous...
