Re: White diecast models: Do they remain white ?
I have a question regarding diecast cars that are painted white. Do they remain white? I have all my cars stored in their original boxes and are always in complete darkness (closet) . Does time and temperature affect their color? Do the decals begin to yellow ? Thank you for your feedback. Plastic ...

Re: Zinc pest on a Norev 911 GT2 DE?
Yeah, seller sent me some extra pics today. Someone with the proper skills might be able to repair it perhaps, but not me unfortunately.
Funny, I found another one in black and it seems to have the same problem. Looks like a bad batch going around eBay at the moment...

Info on Kyosho Mercedes CLK Coupe
Hi, can you guys answer a few questions about this model? 1) Which version came out first? Is it the one without sunroof? 2) I've seen quite a few pics of them in different colors showing the bumpers a shade darker than the body. Would that be sun damage, or does that just happen over time regardles...

Re: Dream car collection in miniature
Really love the way you displayed your cars, with a good gap between one another. Makes it easier to admire each one of them individually! Great collection! Fun fact - the display stand was designed to withstand a kid crashing into it with a head - kid would probably get concussion but the vitrine s...

Taking apart a Norev Murcielago LP640
Hi guys, I'm looking for advice on dismantling a Norev Murcielago LP640. I tried to do it on my own but I ran away scared when I heard that crackling sound of broken plastic  Thankfully I didn't screw it up, but I didn't make any progress either. As far as I can see, there are only two screws...

Zinc pest on a Norev 911 GT2 DE?
So, there's this Norev 911 GT2 dealer edition in dark blue on eBay UK right now, however the seller himself pointed out that the paint on the hood/bonnet has "crazed": http://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/oswAAOSwF1dUOTiJ/s-l1600.jpg Here's the listing. What do you think of that? Does that look like zinc p...

Hi from across the pond!
Hello from Ireland everyone! Intros are not my best skills and I tend to ramble on and on, so take cover because here it goes... I've been collecting diecast models on and off since the mid-late 80's. I once had a large 1:64 collection when I was a kid (about 100 of them), but when I became a teenag...
