Re: FAZ Diecast

Sorry about the wrong forum. FAZ are pretty well known in the UK - they are fairly prolific on FB. Having googled them, it appears that a number of their customers suffered similar issues a few years back

Re: Anyone collect both 1:43 and 1:18?

I collect both - and a couple of 1/24 (smts lightweight e-type and 330 ferrari). Have about 400 1/43 and 150 1/18". Personally i don't have a theme - my one criteria is is if i like it. Do agree that 1/18" are better value - even though more expensive. But I'm running out of room fast - so thats the...

Re: Why Isn’t 1:24 scale popular?

Personally i also never saw why it didnt take it. To me it is an ideal size. I only have 2 - a SMTS lightweight E-type and a 330 Ferrari. I think the reason it never really took off was more down to the fact that 1/43rd and 1/18th had already become frontrunners - and a third scale perhaps wasnt war...

Re: Anyone collect both 1:43 and 1:18?

I have both. Probably more 1/43rds. Guessing - maybe 200 1/43rds and 100 1/18ths.

I do like 1/18th but they take up so much room. However they are becoming ever increasingly better value than 1/43rds

Re: Looking for 1:18 Lamborghini recommendation

I have recently acquired a Frontiart Aventador in yellow. For a while i was considering the AA model but something seems amiss at the front end . Very pleased with the Frontiart - and not an extortionate price either. I would have also had a Kyosho one as they are good value - but personally think t...

Good day from the UK

Newbie signing in. Am in the Uk and have maybe 300 - 400 models. No particular stance of collecting - my only criteria is if i like it , then i try to acquire it. Been collecting for many a moon - starting with a Bburago 250 GTO (long since moved on). Selection is varied - 1/43 , 1/24 (SMTS Lightwei...
