Re: AUTOart New 2018 Assortment: Sport | Supercar

The Huracan Performante looks quite nice in pics. I'd be curious to see how they pulled-off the forged carbon but the white tire lettering is a very nice touch. Wish more cars had this extra detail.

The tooling for those large, beautiful models is a significant investment. I suspect they will re-emerge eventually, though perhaps with a revised (higher) price.

Re: What's next for Pocher after their Lambo Aventador serie

My slight disappointment rests in the fact that Pocher elected to make highly detailed models of the base models of both Lambo cars. Apparently Pocher and Hornby have since parted ways, so we shall see what the future brings.

Re: DECAL REMOVING - 1/18 Williams FW14B Minichamps

I had similar issues trying to modify other Minichamps cars of that era. The most successful method I found of repairing things like that is to quite literally re-paint that section of yellow. Consider yourself fortunate that you can get Camel yellow in a Tamiya rattle-can: imagine having to perform...

Greetings from Montreal!

Hi everyone, I used to be an avid colector of Formula 1/Indy/Champ Car diecast (mostly 1/18) and just recently came back into the fold, awakened from my slumber by those magnificent Pocher 1/8 Aventador and Huracan kits! I've done a considerable amount of automotive modeling (kits and scratchbuildin...

Re: Looking for 1:18 Lamborghini recommendation

Opening panels aside, there's another interesting reason to get the Auto Art Aventador, at least of it's the roadster version. They did a very clever thing in molding the window parts in a light clear green, rather than the usual pure clear plastic. This detail, while subtle, creates a better impres...
