Buying Diecast Cars from United Kingdom

Hello Diecast forum members. I hope you are all well and staying safe in these uncertain times. I am starting a topic with regards to buying Diecast from UK retailers. As we all know, the UK has exited the European Union. There are immediate impacts because of this. My question revolves around shipp...

Re: Revell : 1/12 Ferrari 250 GTO

I didn't even know these existed until your post. Based on what I seen in the photos the exterior side is well done. When I display all else is usually closed. Pricing is reflective of the age and the fact Revell is out the scale model business, well from diecast scale perspective. https://i.ebayim...

Revell : 1/12 Ferrari 250 GTO

Hello fellow diecast enthusiasts. I recently came across a car that I wanted to buy a long time ago but never did. I am referring to the 1/12 scale Ferrari 250 GTO by Revell. These were released I believe 20 years ago. Now they appear on that popular auction site at outrageous prices. These Ferraris...

Re: Solido McLaren F1 GTR short tail

I don't think they are officially released yet... We posted an article a few days back. As for details, they are budget-models no more no less. I just saw the one the latest, the AC Cobra with Hard Top it is brilliant for the price! https://diecastsociety.com/solido-future-releases/ I've seen them ...

Solido McLaren F1 GTR short tail

The French diecast manufacturer Solido has released two versions in scale 1/18 of the McLaren F1 GTR short tail. One is the #33 Gulf liveried and the second is the presentation model in red with yellow wheels. They have opening doors and retail about 40 Euros. The cars seem very similar to UT Models...

Spark 1/18 Mazda 787B 1991 Le Mans 24 hrs Winner

The #55 Renown Mazda 787B driven to victory at the 1991 Le Mans 24 hrs by Johnny Herbert, Bertrand Gachot and Volker Weidler is about to be released. Photos look really good. It will be tough to top the same car made by AutoArt. That one is a true masterpiece.

Minichamps Jordan 191 1/43

Hello diecast enthusiasts. I've noticed that this particular model has been re-released. The German based manufacturer's quality has lowered substantially. They produced the black test car as well as the versions of Zanardi, Moreno, Gachot , De Cesaris and of course M. Schumacher. The front wing on ...

Pricing on Mattel Elite is Insane

I dont remember what was the selling price for the scale 1/18 Mattel Elite when they first came out. I missed buying a couple of Ferrari models like the Ferrari 512 S :wall: . Now when i search for them they have these ridiculous prices. For example the Ferrari 288 GTO is extremely expensive. I want...

Thank You very Much Mr. Administrator. Yes I also like to see the Ferrari 288 GTO. I think they released a yellow one already. It is available at German diecast shops.

Manufacturer KK Scale Models

Do any of the board members know anything about this brand? Are they an affiliate of Kyosho? They presently have several Ferraris in 1/18 scale. Dont know if they have opening parts. The models look to be similar to Mattel Elite or slightly better. They are priced around 70 Euros. Any info would be ...

Minichamps Military Diecasts

I really enjoyed the tanks that Minichamps did several years ago. It is such a pity they stopped producing their military line of diecasts. Does anyone on this forum have some and do they miss the fact that Paul's Model Art discontinued this interesting line?
