Re: OttOmobile New Opel Kadett GT-E (Group 4)
They say everyone loves an underdog, and this represents a real beauty. The original 1.9 litre SOHC engine was replaced by a 16 valve version based on the Chevrolet Vega with a Cosworth designed DOHC head. This was in an attempt to match the very similar Ford Escort RS1800 of the time. The problems ...

You know they will. Dealers such as CK will already be in contact with GTS for special editions - and with more realistic shipping prices to go with them.......Model Maniac wrote:I hope they do some other colors. White & black does not do that car justice.

Re: Hi Guys, looking for some LED help?
LED's tend to come in regular and high brightness variations. When I want a cheap source for front and rear I buy 'bicycle' lamp sets that pop up from time to time in Aldi or Lidl German retailer stores (to be found all over Europe). Battery holders designed for electronic projects are easy to find ...

Re: ACME Trading Co. Announces Alliance w/ Classic Carlectab
If anyone on the forum knows the people at Acme or CC ask if they will import some of the 1/18th scale ATCC touring car racers out of Australia. Classic have some subjects that I would really like to be able to buy in Europe, and not have to pay crippling amounts for shipping.....

Re: Schuco New Releases for May
We need Schuco to re-do this version of the Beetle as an early 70's 1302S. The only such model in 1/18th scale is the ancient Revell which is long gone. I know that the last 1:1 version of the Beetle on sale (new) is significant, but it has little relevance outside South America. And whitewall tyres...

Re: Kyosho Headliner – Lancia Stratos HF Series
Are you aware of the Kyosho version? And I mean the opening diecast ones, not this sealed resin. I did not know that Kyosho had produced an earlier series of the Stratos in metal with opening parts. It makes no sense now that they have abandoned this tooling in favour of a sealed resin - and at suc...

Re: Kyosho Headliner – Lancia Stratos HF Series
Since the Sunstar is the only real option in 1/18th scale at the moment, I hoped this would be a realistic alternative. But it looks to be way too expensive even for a fully opened, fully detailed metal model. $345 for a sealed resin? No thanks...... If they drop to around €100 then I will consider...
