REVIEW: BMW i8 by Paragon in 1/18
The Toyota Prius was "born electric", too, and much earlier than the BMW i8. So what´s the merit of the Bimmer that it deserves to be replicated as an 1/18 model? Well, have you bought the Paudi 1/18 Prius? No? Why not? But you´re interested in the BMW i8! Because in contrast to the Prius, it´s styl...

REVIEW: Rolls Royce Silver Spirit by BoS Models, 1/18
"We will have succeeded in our task if, late on a winter´s evening, in a dimly lit street, someone looks out of a window and catches a glimpse of a dark and travel-stained Silver Spirit and says 'A Rolls-Royce has just gone by'", Fritz Feller, Chief Engineer for Styling and Future Projects, is quote...

Eurocopter
Hi everyone, I´m not to sure whether my latest creative project belongs here, as it neither diecast, nor even a car. I have lately turned a (GI Joe collectors forgive me) Chinese military toy helicopter into a VIP Eurocopter. I got the idea from a 1/18 mililtary toy forum where someone suggested tha...

Rolls Royce Silver Seraph
When I got my Bentley Arnage T more than 10 years ago, I suggested to Minichamps that with a little re-tooling it might be an idea to make its sister model, the Rolls Royce Silver Seraph. They thanked me politely and promised to pass it on to the developments department and it looks as if the idea h...

Re: AUTOart Koenigsegg Agera
Ask too different people and you get two different answers. So look at the pictures and take into account which color fits your collection and display conditions.

Re: AUTOart Koenigsegg Agera
I would recommend the white Agera. The silver one´s flakes have been criticized as bit too big ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9yICRDJiReg ). And I think, the solid white contrasts and thereby accents details like carbon, stripes, rims and lights nicely. Take a look at mine at http://1-18-modelcol...

Re: Any German's here can get me one?
I´m afraid I would have to pay the same for posting the item to Canada. I have just done research on the DHL website.

Re: Any German's here can get me one?
Kraftig, have you already found someone to get this Audi thing for you? I am German, perhaps I can help. I have found this on Ebay: http://www.ebay.de/itm/Original-AUDI-Duftspender-Duftgecko-rot-000-087-009B-Blumiger-Duft/151475089416?_trksid=p2047675.c100010.m2109&_trkparms=aid%3D555012%26algo%3DPW...

Re: Bad taste In my opinion...
I fully agree: extremely bad taste!!! It´s different from selling a model as James Dean´s Porsche, not as what he died in (though he did) but because he owned and enjoyed it - more like Steve McQueen´s Jaguar XKSS.

Buying from China on ebay
Hi there, I would like to share a nasty buyer experience on ebay with you: Some of you may remember my review on the Ford Mondeo which I bought in back in August. Then you may have noticed what was wrong with the driver´s seat. I complained about that to the seller, asked him what he can do about it...

Humberside Police Evo X and BMW 3 Touring
Hi everyone, thought, I´d share my Humberside Police Project with the community. I have of long bought a white Mitsubishi Evo X by CSM and a white BMW 3 series Touring (estate) by Paragon to embody Humberside Police´s (UK) famous Road Crime Section as seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8bjil...

Re: DCOTM – Karsten Weiss February 2014 Winner!
Hi everyone, I am overwhelmed with all the positive feedback on here. Thanks, guys! So let me answer your questions: @ Stratos: In fact it´s the older G25 that I´ve got there. I still mainly play Test Drive Unlimited 1, because I like the relaxed collect & cruise idea. The idea was to have the cars ...
