Re: Random Model Pic of the Day!

The world of GT racing would be a duller place without the 911, in all it's guises.......there's just so many of them!!! :wow: 8-)

Nice. Seeing oldies like this always brings Bonnie and Clyde to mind!

Re: Pat's collection : Ferrari 1/18.

Mattel Elite F1 cars are very tidy indeed. I really like the scrubbed tyres. I have a few myself, and they are much superior to Minichamp's F1 models.

Re: Philip's collection

There's competition for Minichamps in the shape of WITS, who concentrate on classic Japanese bikes, and their upcoming release list is a real smorgasbord of delectable beauties from the land of the rising sun.

They are every bit as good as PMA's releases.

Re: Philip's collection

Time for one of my 'Grail' models. It's PMA Minichamp's gorgeous 1/12 1978 Honda CBX1000. These models were discontinued by Minichamps a few years ago, and command big money on eBay, anything from £120-£200. I spied this one for sale (BNIB) from a German seller for just (the equivalent of) £67 inc p...

Re: Drivinghermad collection Mostly 1/12 and Larger

It's hard to beat the early 911s for purity of form and beauty. I love the chrome wheels.

Very nice piece. :okay:

Yup, and it's yet another on my 'To buy' list. Unfortunately, it will have to wait, as I have just changed my 1/1 car for another!

Re: Post Your Latest DIECAST Purchase

Oh the Ford 999 was exquisite! Movable steering, gears, sprockets, brakes, I don't even know what else. It was highly highly impressive. It's on Exoto's website for $347 right now. If I had the money, I'd buy it again in a heartbeat. The Tipo 500 was such a pretty blue, I'm determined to buy it aga...

Who needs a studio when you have a backdrop and lovely lighting like that!

McLaren looks stunning in natural light. Some pics would not look out of place in a sales brochure! :okay:

Ferrari F12 looks gorgeous, too.

Re: Wes' Collection - Autoart Nissan Super Silhouette Monste

It looks impressive enough in photos. I can only guess how much more so it is in the flesh, so to speak!

It's strange Exoto went down the 1/10 path, and not 1/12. Perhaps to avoid competing directly with GMP's excellent 1/12 GT40s? I would love a GMP 1/12 Gulf GT40, but they make silly money.

Re: Philip's collection

Nice! Yeah, links dont work for me either. I have to get this asap, it really is good looking model. Ferraris are usually best in red but I think this is the best livery for the 458. Love the unboxing pic, that feeling is the best feeling in diecast collecting. Show yourself! Edit: Copying the link...
