Re: Detailing a Ferrari Mythos
Hey, long time in between projects... Nice to see the passion is back! This is one model I personally debated to add initially, and never did. I can't wait to see the results. BTW, I cannot see any photos. Where are you hosting them? It's on Google: https://photos.app.goo.gl/TsbSc7KhvefW32nL9 I cha...

Detailing a Ferrari Mythos
Last week I came across a Guiloy Ferrari Mythos on internet. I didn't know it existed! It was just 15 euro, so swiftly purchased. While in transit I also discovered the existence of the Revell diecast model of this car and it was purchased for the mighty sum of 7,50 euro. They arrived this weekend a...

Re: Do you know Donkervoort?
It's Dutch, not German. I hope this is a pre-production example. Lots of glue visible through the mesh. I hope they make the white one as well. Looks stunning. When that's out I am going to the factory to pick one up (just 1 hour drive from me).

Re: Mondo Motors 1/18 Pagani Zonda F coupe improve/modify
I am reviving this thread. Although I don't have much time at the moment (working in the house and my small business is taking more time), I hope this autumn and winter to get serious again and start working on the Zonda's. I am storing the Vector W8 project because of problems with the scissor door...

Re: Photobucket takes photo's hostage
It seems Photobucket has changed its payment schedule and hosted pics are visible again. They now have a free signup and smaller fees for paid storage and hosting. It won't work. Noone trusts Photobucket anymore, but anyway nice to see their photo hostage scheme failed.

Also updated this thread with new photo links. Maybe not as flashy as a Pagani, but I still adore this model. Re: Mondo Motors/Motor Max 1/18 Pagani Zonda F Roadster diec
I have reuploaded all build pics to freephotoupload.com and repaired the links, because I get questions (and offers) regularly about this model. I won't sell this one, but who knows one day I build the perfect Zonda Roadster with detailed engine. Maybe make 2 at the same time so I can sell one (some...

Re: Ricko 1/18 Vector W8 rebuild and improve WIP
I am still here, but the real world got back to me so had to shelve the project. Revenue of my coffee and tea business has tumbled in a way it is difficult to keep the shop going. It is very painful because I put all my effort in it and always have been very enthusiastic about our small business. Th...

Re: Super glue leaked on paint :(
Never use superglue on the outside of models or on clear parts. I use a clear slow drying glue. It gives me time to position the part (sometimes I have to hold it in place for a few minutes) and remove glue residue with alcohol. Then it needs to dry for 24 hours and is strong enough for fixing small...

Re: Decal making software
As an example what I made for my Zonda. By sticking them on bare metal foil, I made metal logo's. Not perfect, but I am not auto Art. I even made decals for the brakes. Very easy. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/pJ82J89Kg4QOQTG_5x41JrDIfHRPuNCcRAThx4UCvfsvs9d7tBAGUFIDRr4ZbPT2aV9Hsf3zwJ7OiVjgkh7H6d...

Re: Decal making software
I have used an ancient Photoshop 5.0 that can be downloaded for free. I made 1200dpi files for printing on both laser- and inkjet printer. I made files for my Zonda and my GT90 project. I find PSP very easy to use, get a good image and size it to the proper dimensions and dpi. I never had the idea t...

Real pioneering work Maarten, well done. Also the rims 3D printing technique.

Oh that's tempting. Awesome car, would display perfectly with the Vector W8 and Ford GT90. But depends on the price, I am not going to pay top dollar for a resin model.

Re: Tesla Roadster 0-60 in 1.9 Seconds
Pretty car, but too expensive. Goes the same way as the Honda/Acura NSX. I would buy a Lotus or Porsche instead for equal fun and a fraction of the price.
