Wow. That is absolutely stunning, really excellent craftsmanship. I hope you've got it displayed somewhere prominent!

What a superb build, it looks like a 1:1 in every photo. Love the display cabinet too.

I like the mesh wheels. I'm a big fan of red with silver so either the BBS or the Rial
BBS or Rial for me too. It's a shame to hide the brakes, but those wheels just look right on a tuned Golf.

Fantastic build! This is going to look great when it's done, I love all the details that are going in and the creative use of Lego!

Re: 1970 Dodge Challenger Tracktool

Great work so far. Did I understand right that you scratch built those A/N fittings? I'd never considered that, it must be a lot cheaper than the RB Motion sets!

Re: Glue recommendation for resin?

Cyanoacrylate *is* super glue. I would not recommend this on a model, especially on a part where the bond does not need to be especially strong. A wood glue will be far less risky and will hold lightweight parts perfectly well. A plastic toothpick will also work well for application, if you don't ha...

Here's some photos of the real thing, from the British Motor Museum. I can highly recommend a visit to anyone in the UK, there are some glorious cars there. You'll find half your collection of British cars in 1:1. https://i.imgur.com/egGZ7Zp.jpg https://i.imgur.com/0RklAde.jpg https://i.imgur.com/Wu...

Trust me, it's still tempting if the price is right! Looks like the ride height is a bit tall but otherwise it's pretty good, especially in silver. Fully opening would just seal the deal.

Re: Cult Scale Models New 1980 Triumph TR7 DHC Silver & Blue

Fantastic! I loved TR7s as a kid. Matchbox used to make slot cars, a bit smaller than Scalextric, and I had a few different sets. One of them came with a green TR7 coupe with popped-up headlights, which was incredibly cool in my eyes. I have many happy memories of those and if someone made a fully o...

Wheel size looks pretty good to me - I think the fact that the lip of the rims is the same colour as the tyre causes an optical illusion that makes you think the sidewalls are taller than they are and the rims are smaller. The only thing I'd criticise is that they should maybe be a bit more tucked u...
