Re: Post Your Latest DIECAST Purchase

I didn't even know this model existed until yesterday, won it this morning on eBay. It's one of my absolute dream cars and I paid very little for it ($118) so I am very excited :D

Re: Porsche 911 GT1 Street version 1:18 - Which one?

Surely if a model was going to develop wheel melt it would have done so by now? On my silver 1997 GT1, it has gotten worse over time, so I don't know. But I have had it on open air display for about 6 years. People freak out about it when it's really not that big of a deal, none of my other UTs hav...

Re: Porsche 911 GT1 Street version 1:18 - Which one?

There was a topic about this a while ago, but AutoArt has not updated their GT1 release, so nothing has changed. Don't get the AutoArt. It is not a real homologated roadcar but another one of their fantasy, "plain-body" cars. I'm sorry but I have to say that I really hate how they do that, it's such...

Re: MY last HOLY GRAIL, what is YOURS?

118supercars, skip the Hot Wheels Elite 288 GTO. I owned it, sold it, and can tell you it's no good. Very much still a Bburago mold, no door windows, no perforated openings; no photoetch mesh; poor interior; mediocre engine. Black CCX was the worst of the three colors. It's the one I sent off to ge...

Re: MY last HOLY GRAIL, what is YOURS?

^^^ I didn't know about the Fronti-Art Koenigsegg CC8S until now, put that on the top of my list. Silver wouldn't have been my first choice for the color but whatever... The AutoArt CCX has become a holy grail for me, had a black one and sold it, really regret that. My other holy grails right now ar...

Re: AUTOart Bugatti Chiron

I get all happy whenever someone posts about this model...I've always found the Chiron fascinating and beautiful, I like it way more than the Veyron. I would say something like "I wish it would've been produced instead of the Veyron" but if it was, that would take away from its mystique. This was on...

Re: Random Model Pic of the Day!

Those rims look good on the SV, Nic  That's my favorite Diablo, I really need to replace my Welly with an AutoArt. Thanks! Actually my Diablo SV is also by Welly. I just modified it including the interior, wheels, lowered height, & rear garnish. :) The AUTOart Diablo SV's prices now are reall...

Re: Error cars, worth more or LESS?

When I had this model, it was the 2nd release with the correct engine. It has become very rare again, except for the fantasy burgundy one. But, not $250-$590 rare - if you sold that one and bought a 2nd release, you might end with some extra $$, even if you can find a black or silver one. AutoArt's ...

Middle-end could mean anything these days, hopefully they mean something under $200. But, I'm looking forward to seeing what they have to offer.
