Re: Marcel's 1/18 scale collection (Lamborghini Miura P400S)

I hope they are going to do more re-releases. As you maybe know, I was out of this hobby for 10 years or so, so I missed a lot of their classics. Next addition is also a Kyosho re-release. Recently also reviewed here on diecast society. I knew for months it was coming, but only this week decided to ...

Re: Post Your Latest DIECAST Purchase

Is the new Bburago Signature line, which I assume is taking over what Hot Wheels Elite used to be, not as good??? Price is decent, but they're overall execution is far behine Hot Wheels Elite. Read the reviews, link above :okay: Not only that, where are the models? They did the 458 Speciale, 488 GT...

Re: New wheels for Norev Porsche 930

Done: https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/50198356273_d7558889a5_k.jpg In the end didn't go for full gun metal, but Tamiya light gun metal. The normal gun metal turned out too dark, loosing too much of the shape of the BBS LM. Also flocked the interior and changed it to red. For loads more picture, ...

Re: Marcel's 1/18 scale collection (Ferrari Monza SP1)

Re: Marcel's 1/18 scale collection (Koenigsegg One:1 full carbon)

On to the next arrival. Less than 10% of the price of the last addition, so keep that in mind when looking at the photo's. It's a long time since I bought a model of this price range, but Bburago really deserve some compliments for making this. They nailed it. I measured the dimension and the shape,...

Re: Random Model Pic of the Day!

Now, is there level of overall execution the same it was in past, no. 100% agree. But, the same story with most brands. And if the execution is the same, the prices are a lot higher. Has probably to do with the fact that the countries where they are produced have actual rules for their laborers now...

Re: Random Model Pic of the Day!

You one of the rare ones. Still many dispise the compositie side of AUTOart. And these people are also the same that start whining when some paintrash developes on there die-cast models. Those people are never ever satisfied with anything. :shame: I actually like the composite. I don't care about t...

Re: Post Your Latest DIECAST Purchase

^ You guys grabbing those Koenigseggs should be able to sell those for good dollar about 5 years down the road. I recently sold my red Agera for a pretty penny. Well, don't know about you, but I'm not in this hobby to make money, or even thinking about making profits and seeing these models as inve...
