Re: Brian's Collection

Every time I visit member collections, I look for updates on this thread. Last update has been since March, you had to have picked up 60 more models by now, and every color of each!!! :manual:

Good thing the CFO of the church who has no clue what anything is or what its worth gets to decide what to do with it all.

Re: AUTOart composite models

That is true, I personally dont feel (until I actually hold one) that light weight is really an issue. If it spends 99% of its life inside a case, who cares if its not a thicker die cast body? I am only concerned if it actually looks cheap, or breaks easy.

AA Composite Models

So all i have seen is just complaints about the new composite models. I only ask these questions because I do not own one yet, but I will have official opinions once I acquire one. But do these offer anything that people like better? I remember reading that shut lines and gaps are supposed to be muc...

Re: Hanako's Collection

Lucky, although I have never puked and re-swallowed a little stomach acid, this goes along with a rant I had somewhere else a while back about how these guys release super limited numbers for an absorbent price tag, and then proceed to make 361 colors of it. At the end of the day, they produce just ...

God i cant believe how similar your wall looks like mine. My wall was even the same color originally. Mines only 27 feet wide though lol. I have all mine in cases.

Re: Hot Wheels Elite 458 GT2 vs Super Elite launch edition

Damn, 55 shipped! For that I'd buy one right now. I have my eye on a couple, but its still around $80 shipped.

Thanks, I kind of agree, if theres minimal extra detail on the car, I'm not too interested. I just dont care about special packaging and a plaque that much (that will sit in a closet).

Re: REVIEW: 1:18 l GMP l 1970 l Nova "Drag King" 1320

Just picked this one up too. I didnt realize from the pictures and chat here that the doors dont open! But, for the price, this model is definitely a great buy. Also noted, the cars finish is just decent out of the box, but after a nice coat of wax the paint looks perfect. I wonder once all the 1074...

Hot Wheels Elite 458 GT2 vs Super Elite launch edition

Sorry, I thought there was a thread somewhere pertaining to the hot wheels elite 458 GT2, but anyways, does anyone have comparison of the elite version vs the super elite launch version? Im wanting to pick one of the two up, and of course Im drawn to the slightly better detail of the super elite ver...

Is there any release dates for the P1? I have never seen something advertised for so long as pre production. Hasnt this thing been at the last two Nuremburg fairs? damn already!

Re: CMC: Ferrari 250 GTO - Red

I am in the same boat as Wes, I am immediately sucked in by the detail and parts count, which no other manufacturer can compare with (at least with this car), which is why I bought this one. The engine, interior and chassis detail is incredible. However, I do enjoy reading Lucky's no BS rants, his k...

Re: BUGATTI EB 16.4 VEYRON PRODUCTION CAR #001

Are you asking how the Le Finale version differs? In my opinion it is the most beautiful one. The interior is different, as well as the exterior color combo, having the red carbon fiber and black on the hood/top. The wheels are a dark red as well. I truly hope AA makes this one, I dont see why they ...

Re: What is your diecast car collection actually worth?

Does this really matter to a diecast lover? In the past 15yrs, I have no idea how much I have paid for my collection and it's worth now. I rather not to know about it, just keep my passion with them, Im actually thankful Brian doesnt know, saves me (and probably all of us) from reacting like :wow:
