Re: Spark #17 Porsche 962 Jagermeister - Winner Spa 1986

Stub that is so HOT! Love the 962, love the livery, and love the transition from the front covered wheels to the rear being exposed. Well done Sparks! thanks, I've got it displayed with my TSM 935 K4 Jagermeister and they look stunning together. Definately recommend this model to any Porsche / Race...

Re: Collecting preferences

My guidelines for collecting are 1. Subject matter - I'm focused purely on endurance racers from 1975 - 1999, with sub collections of the Porsche 935 and 962. 2. Scale - 1:18 and 1:43 (subject diversity is much greater with 1:43) 3. Brands - TSM, HPI, Exoto, Spark and Autoart seem to be my manufactu...

Re: Models That Are Becoming Rare

I'd say Autoart's #18 Mazda 787B, Le Mans 1991 is becoming a rarer sight. The #55 car and certainly the Gran Turismo version are still readily available, but the #18 car doesn't turn up all that often.

The original car, driven by Thierry Bousten and Frank Jelinski, was the winner of round 8 of the 1986 FIA Worlds Sports-Prototype Championship. Round 8 took place at Spa in September. Re: Stu's Collection

thanks for your kind words guys I get depressed when I see photos of livery cars :( Are you not a fan of race cars? No worries if that's the case, it would be an uninteresting world if we all liked the same thing 8-) Why don't you buy the Klingsbo display cases from IKEA? Although they're twice the ...

Re: TrueScale Miniatures New 1:18 Pre-Production Photos

Very sad that they rather make resin models. No die-cast in here except for McLarens. Are the 935s resin? To me they look like they are based on TSMs Jagermeister K2 model, which is diecast. I will definately be picking up the #40 935, but not sure on the #1 Martini car. I'm not sure what it is wit...

Stu's Racer Collection 1:18 & 1:43

New member from the U.K.

hi I joined the forum a few months ago but never got around to posting.....until now. Anyway i've only been collecting for a short time, just under 2 years. I am a huge endurance racer fan, so my collection is focused around these types of racers (it was Autoarts Aston Lola that got me started). At ...
