Re: Thank you RepliCarz!

I have recently created a relationship with Replicarz. I retired in April 2020, and need to reduce my rather substantial 1/18 scale diecast collection. I tried eBay, but the hassle of dealing with each individual buyer, packing one or maybe two models at a time, and awaiting the inevitable complaint...

WANTED: 1/18 scale Porsche 935, First Generation, Rear Engine Cover and Wing

Re: GMP Lola T70 Spyder - Minor Modification

Looks like a star trek spaceship. Very cool. I would have touched up those defects before paint though Thanks, it was a fun project. Actually wasn't expecting it to go as far as it did. Was just fooling around to see if the T332 scoop might match up. Not going into my displayed collection, the dono...

Re: GMP Lola T70 Spyder - Minor Modification

So, I got my good buddy and premier resin-caster Mike Kotwick (@Swede70 on many diecast boards) to help me out. Initially all I needed was a replacement for the Boraxo, but while we were talking, I went ahead an sent him a sample of each one of the three types that CC used. Mike is a magician when i...

Re: GMP Lola T70 Spyder - Minor Modification

did it actually race with the scoop or was it a practice/testing thing strictly https://www.racingsportscars.com/chassis/photo/SL73__126.html The Lola was a second T70 purchased by Penske to be a Can Am series team car to the original T70 driven by Donohue. George Follmer would be the driver. Here'...

GMP Lola T70 Spyder - Minor Modification

Ever wonder why no one apparently ever tried a high scoop for the induction system on a Lola T70 Spyder? https://www.google.com/search?sca_esv=595190714&sxsrf=AM9HkKmfmw4CGsX7R7aoSOL9q-R6P0q2XQ:1704235969457&q=lola+t70+spyder&tbm=isch&source=lnms&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwi9p8rc5b-DAxXlQzABHfjiD7IQ0pQJegQIDxA...

Re: How do you strip a Minichamps DB9 ? And where do you get spares

If you have a picture of the steering link, I might be able to talk you through a repair scenario.

Highly unlikely that Minichamps will have a spare.

Let me know.

Re: How do you strip a Minichamps DB9 ? And where do you get spares

I am not specifically familiar with this model but have considerable experience with customizing other 1/18 scale diecast.

If you could post some pictures, especially of the bottom, I would be pleased to help you out.

That's awesome Jim! Thanks for the entertaining post! Merry Christmas
You are quite welcome!

All of those are re-bodied Greenlight Cougars, where I take a stock/street body and place it on one of their Trans Am Cougar chassis.

wow, those look outstanding. Seems like an "out of left field" choice for RAR, doesn't it? Cool to see, regardless.
But such an iconic race car, really established IMSA as a player in road racing; plus being the Holbert version, had to have it.

Re: Ebbro Early Sample Nissan R382 1969 Japan GP #21

So little known outside of Japan.

I remember when there was a Can Am race there, back in 1968.

Looking at the results, however, there were no Nissan-powered competitors.
