Re: My first attempt at respraying 1/18th

One thing to appreciate and be careful about is that the paint and primer (and clear coat if you intend to use it) don't know that you are using them in 1/18 scale. They will cure out at their normal thickness, especially out of a rattle can. What this means is that shut lines at doors, hoods, and t...

Re: GMP McLaren M8B Low-Wing #54

Does the TSM version show a driver name? I know Oscar Koveleski drove it for a while, and then turned it over to Tony A to Z. The GMP version is blank as to driver. Interesting lineage on the chassis: https://www.racingsportscars.com/chassis/archive/M8B__2.html Paul Newman drove this one it seems. ...

Really? Can I ask why? Not that the Spark interests me anymore, just interested to hear your take on the 2.
Primarily the opening doors. Spark was interesting, but it seemed like the Solido, especially at the price, was a better all-around model.

Do you build your own customs, or have them built?

Re: AutoArt Alternative?

I have always wanted high-quality diecast cars. I found this nice Mclaren P1 by AutoArt that I am considering purchasing but I am nervous about the price for essentially a plastic model. I have looked at countless others but they either don't have the same looks or don't have the same features. Doe...
