Re: AutoArt Porsche 918 Spyder Packaging

Is that really worth an exchange, esp from his location? At the end of the day, you A). spend 1 minute and glue the mirror back carefully for a clean look and move on, or B). repackage, ship wait for days/weeks, and get another one and start over. Obviously for the modern prices, we expect perfect m...

Re: AUTOart Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo – Orange

Blah blah blah, more models from them with no engine access even though other Huracan models and older gallardo troffeo had it. Maybe lid lifts off though, you never know harr harr.... As for "lack luster" i do believe that is just a product of their horrible stock photos in horrible lighting that t...

Re: So depressing...

Remember back in the day, when AA diecast fully opening models were 49.99, and the limited production or special ones maybe 59.99? Those were the days. Now a steal from them is a composite sealed model for under $140.... Absolute crap. There are so many cars id love to have, but if they are sealed, ...

Re: DIE-ssecting of a Resin Model…

I agree with Kraft, there is no justification for these outrageous prices given whats inside... Nothing. Ive always bitched about how these manufacturers make "1 of 8" world wide and say its worth $600. And then 46 color variations. Even more crazy how ppl buy them. Ive always wanted confirmation th...

Re: Autoart Composite 1:18 Aventador SV Worth the Money ????

I should have the blue soon, I will review in detail. The learning curve of metal vs. composite or plastic to some is the biggest hurtle. Though it seems the paint in getting somewhat better too. I personally dont mind if its composite, as long as it displays well. I have a long history of building...

Re: Autoart Composite 1:18 Aventador SV Worth the Money ????

Just got the pearlwhite SV, looks great. There are a couple of little things im not a fan of for the price point, but otherwise a must have for any lambo or AA fan. My two biggest gripes are the paint on any surface that isnt the exterior is pretty crappy (like under the front trunklid or door jambs...

Does anyone have the AA 918 yet? Anyone know if a secret screw or clip unhinges the engine cover? I am waiting on that.

I cant believe the porsche is closed engine (well yeah I can I guess, that seems to be the new trend) esp after announcing it with engine open... what a let down. Took this one off my list.

Re: Kyosho | GT Spirit Koenig Countach Twin Turbo – Yellow

Thats classic, make a replica of a twin turbo lambo that is sealed with no motor. Replicating its yellow exterior with yellow wheels is good enough... Sealed is such a joke and thats all everyone is making now a days.

Re: Bburago signature vs Hot Wheels Elite LaFerrari?

Thanks Lucky, great details on all variants! I definitely prefer either Bb sig or Hot Wheels Elite. I agree with you, the BBR open is amazing and I LOVE the black wheels (I think the real life car looks 100x better with black wheels). I absolutely cant get myself to buy standard Bburago/Maistos anym...

Bburago signature vs Hot Wheels Elite LaFerrari?

Sorry if this is discussed elsewhere, or through a combination of other threads, but has anyone seen/compared the Hot Wheels Elite vs Bburago signature LaFerrari? I mean moreso than just comparing pictures. Bburago is about $50 while the Hot Wheels Elite is $130 ballpark. Is HW worth the extra money...

Re: Bburago Signature Ferrari 488 GTB

Way to hard to decide between grey vs red/black wheels, so I bought both. I havent bought or even considered buying a bburago in decades, so getting two models for $100 is a real treat! Im so sick and tired of spending 200-400 on every damn new model I get. Even though there are so many AAs I want, ...
