Re: Photobucket takes photo's hostage

It's now possible to install add on's in Firefox that go around the Photobucket hostage, but I've already deleted my account and pics on the Photobucket server.

Re: So depressing...

I don't buy them. Until now only the Ariel Atom, but that hasn't moving body parts so no issue. I think they are soulless like replicants in Blade Runner.

Re: Peako Pagani Zonda 760RS Full Carbon

Thanks for sharing, my ultimate favorite Pagani Zonda model as well. Peako made a good effort of it, but I find several flaws disturbing. They never corrected the waistline, which is too high. I can live with the RHD flaw (should be LHD) and various other things they should have improved long ago be...

Re: Ricko 1/18 Vector W8 rebuild and improve WIP

Been quiet on here. Any updates? No nothing to report yet. Will start working on this model soon, but at the moment still working in the shed on my Midas roadster. Hope to finish a few jobs before it gets too cold. Although had the Vector a few times in my hands this summer and just keep seeing mor...

Re: Horatio builds himself a birthday present

I cry tears over 3 wasted good Zonda monocoques. What a rubbish. No doubt they will be bought because so many uberrich people seriously lack taste.

I want the 1/18. I have the Shelby Collection version now, but it is horrid.

Re: The cheap end of the hobby

I ditto that. I hardly buy expensive models. Welly, Revell and Maisto/Bburago are generally good enough for me. I have a few Autoarts and Kyosho in case of special models like the NSX, F40 and Huayra. But the biggest fun is what you do, take a cheap Maisto and detail it. Sometimes it is enough to st...

Re: Photobucket takes photo's hostage

No they didn't. Just got a message (instead of the non displayed photo's) that under their free account rules it is not allowed to do third party sharing. Possibly they recently changed the regulations of which they sent a notice. But can't recall seeing it.

Photobucket takes photo's hostage

I just noticed my photo's can no longer be seen. I need to upgrade my Photobucket account which costs hundreds of dollards per year. Ofcourse I won't, so sorry about that. I have some webspace via my email account and will use that from now on. Hopefully Photobucket gets assaulted for this mob pract...

Re: Working on a real car

Where do you find the time? I'm not mechanically inclined, so working on modern cars for me is watching someone else do it ;) It's not a modern car, this is old technology although I want to install an ECU for the ignition. Will be fun doing my own mapping on the laptop. Injection could be a next s...

Working on a real car

Summer is coming so I am not working on my diecast but on my little sportscar. I hope to get it ready for the first show coming weekend. Because the oil consumption got worse (and smell) I thought it would be a good idea to replace the valve seals. I did not want to remove the head, so did an in sit...

Re: TopSpeed New Pagani Zonda F – Silver

Not impressed. I see many flaws. Rear wheels dish, glass engine bay without ventilation holes, mirror stalks are even thicker than the Mondo's and I could go on. Also a proper Pagani model must have opening parts. That's what I like about Pagani, the jewel like appearance of the interior and engine ...
