Re: Lamborghini Aventador J in Gloss Black!
My first meagre attempt at lighting this, but as far as the model/car is concerned...wow! http://photos.imageevent.com/puma_cat/exoticcars/Lambo-Aventador-J-Wht-Acryl.jpg I do like this photo Puma Cat :worthy: . I'm not a fan of the J, but in this colour and looking at your photos it isn't all that...

#4 Porsche 936/77 Martini, Le Mans 1977 Winner
One of my favourite Porsche racers alongside the 934, 935 and 956/962. This is TSM's model of the iconic Porsche 936/77, chassis #001, winner of the 1977 Le Mans series. Absolutley blown away by this model the detail especially in the engine bay is unreal, photos really don't do this car justice. I ...

Re: Stu's Racer Collection 1:18 & 1:43
it depends what you're after Wes. The detail on the models i've shown are as good as any sealed 1:18, in some cases better. However if you are after opening doors and removable engine covers with full engine detail, then agreed 1:43 can be lacking in this area

Re: #23 Nissan R390 GT1, Le Masn 1997
There were at least two of the pre-prod 962s though yeah, I first saw the Shell 962 back in 2010 and the Blaupunkt 962 in 2012. It's so frustrating as a collector that these cars have been shown for the past few years in preproduction form, yet there's still no news on a release date. In the mean t...

Re: Stu's Racer Collection 1:18 & 1:43
I'm finding myself moving more and more into 1:43 these days. I got rid of a load of DVDs recently which left a spare DVD storage unit. So had a little play around using the storage unit as a 1:43 display unit, here's the outcome :) I wanted a dust free display for my modern Le Mans class winners fr...

another great 1:43 HPI model. I don't have any of thier Rothmans cars, but do have the Kenwood car. The removable rear engine cover is a great feature on these models.

Re: HPI Racing McLaren F1 GTR
i've picked up a few of the HPI F1 GTRs, they are great models and as you say, can be picked up for a great price. My favourite is the 1995 Le Mans Gulf Racing version.

although it's been listed for at least 3 years there's no sign of it, not even a preproduction version. It's a bit like the Autoart 962s.

can't wait for the F1 LM, I'm only looking to pick up 3 road cars (maybe 4 now i've seen Sanchez's Aventador), and the F1 LM is one of them.

Loving the Esprit Turbo, the black and gold version looks stunning. I quite fancy the blue Essex Esprit
Got to say the photos are superb as well, very realistic looking

Re: Porsche 911 GT1, Le Mans 1998 Winner
I too love this GT1 but sorry Stu, this one is a true disappointment to say the least. I expected so much more from Spark. This is not even an improvement over the Maisto, a lot of things are poorly executed/rushed here: oversized wheels then shitty headlights and tail lights. Yeah, look at these t...
