Open a case with PayPal. Hopefully you photographically recorded the condition as recommended above.

eBay and PayPal are very pro-Buyer.

Good Luck!

Re: damnyouebay`s (tiny) collection

Gotta love a collection where all of them have numbers on the doors! eBay is a hit or miss proposition, although I would say that after over 15 years and close to 3000 transactions, my hit percentage is probably close to 97.5%. And with eBay's greater buyer's bias now than when I started, you are pr...

Re: Group 44 Nascar Pontiac Grand Prix

Very nice, and clearly yet another addition to 'our' otherwise unannounced Bob Tullius retrospective collection available only at select outlets in Texas and SE Michigan! Until I read the Canepa Designs website description, I didn't know it was an actual car - thanks for including this. Mike K. And...

Toleman Hart 184

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toleman_TG184 Admittedly, I am neither a Formula 1 fan, nor an Ayrton Senna fan. When I add this model to my collection, that will be two Formula 1 cars on the shelves, the other one being the #5 Eagle-Weslake that Dan Gurney used to win the 1967 Race of Champions at Br...

Your attention to detail is amazing, and your execution just follows suit.

Great build, Mike!

Re: Need some advice

If I were you, I would photographically capture everything involved, starting with taking pictures of all six sides of the box, and then one after another as I unwrapped it. By being able to show the entire sequence of events, there is nothing the seller can do in terms of accusing you of a "bait an...

Re: Elite - Ferrari 458 Italia GT2 #89 Farnbacher Racing - X

I've had to limit my Ferrari collection to just predominantly red versions, so the #51 and #61 fit perfectly. May have to pass on the #89, but these are outrageous models, in terms of detail, and considering the price, and the bias toward sealed models in the marketplace.

Yeah, I had that one previously, too.

Although I am not a Ferrari Fanatic, Hot Wheels really brought the 458 (and others) out for me, and made them a "Have To Have."

Re: Sneak Peak - My Next Custom

Beretta was my first car. Put every dollar I had into it, got a bit of magazine exposure with it, even went as far as converting it from an auto to a Getrag 5spd. Before I sold it, I had a rare McLaren OEM turbo kit off a 3.1T Pontiac Grand Prix to go on. I had one of the McLaren Turbo GP's, for a ...

Been on the fence about that one. Just picked up the #61 Napa GT AM version, and these are really great models.

Thanks for the pics!

The cars are too far away from the rumble strip on the apex of the turn.

Couple of updated pics. Got an interior partially fitted, it's from a Guilloy WTCC BMW. http://i1191.photobucket.com/albums/z468/ibj40/Malibu/GT2%20Malibu/GT2Malibu-2_zps1626fc2f.jpg And added the rear wing from the same model to the deck lid of the Malibu. http://i1191.photobucket.com/albums/z468/i...

Since I don't have a local bookstory, I just ordered one through Amazon. Thanks for the tip!

Four PLN Daytona 24 Rides - In 1/18 Scale - Updated 05/02/15

Paul Newman loved the Daytona 24 Hours. Newman first entered the 24 Hours in 1977, and also raced in 1979, 1995, 2001, 2004 and 2005. In 1977, Newman co-drove a Ferrari with Forbes-Robinson and Milt Minter to a fifth-place Overall finish. http://www.racingsportscars.com/photo/1977/Daytona-1977-02-06...

I'm a big Henri Pescarolo fan, and have been slowly adding cars he either drove or owned, or has some association with, and that Oak Nissan is high on my list.

Nice set, really special when you can chronicle an event in 1/18 scale diecast.
