Hey Charice, i'm just curious, what is your budget/avg monthly spending on models?
I have never seen someone attaining such a high number of extremely low run resins before, youre collection is quite amazing!!!!

Re: My Collection
I say this everytime, I'd absolutely get lost for days in that room, stunning. Youre kind of my hero. I understand having one of all colors, but why duplicates? Especially with the LP640's, I saw 3 white and 3 turquoise. I guess when you order 22 at a time, you sometimes forget that you already orde...

Yea I'm quite happy with all of them, lots of eye candy. However, honestly, I really think AA's One-77 should be in the performance series price range/packaging. I think the model lacks for being a signature series.

Re: Whither the Ferrari License next?
Well regardless of the make/model and how much I may desire the real car, I refuse to buy cheap versions with plastic wheels/tires/engines and interiors, so I hope more than just Maisto ends up with it. Of course there is the other end of the spectrum, MR, which sells for $400-$800 for no opening pa...

Re: Post Your Latest DIECAST Purchase
I need help. Big time. I can decide which route to go for next purchase(s).
1) 3 1/18's: AutoArt Huayra, AutoArt Aventador Roadster, and either Agera or One-77 (Assuming Venom GT will not be out in time for "next purchase(s)).
2) Pocher 1/8 Aventador in matte black

Re: ANATOMY OF A HANDBUILT MODEL
Next step would be the clear coat. It is a two part polyurethane nasty stuff, just like the primer. And will run you a cool $90. You have to go through the same steps, prep and precaution as with the primer. You spray it, let it cure and then do "paint correction" wet sanding. Of course the clear h...

Those shelves are awesome, cant wait to see them up. Any plans on adding lighting?
Kraft, yours with the black frame and additional shelves looks amazing, that is perfect.

Re: Displaying diecast in crystal cases
I think this only happens (at least with my experience) with cheaper maisto/bburago etc models that traditionally use a plastic compound for tires. They do seem to "melt" and leave a residue on the base. I have never had this happen with any AAs or other higher end models that use rubber. I remember...

I very very very patiently await the roadster as well. In the light blue metallic. If only I could remember the badass italian color name of the top of my head.
