Re: Random Model Pic of the Day!

beautiful 2000GT. Silver really shows off the lines nicely. That's the AA, right? Somehow I missed getting a regular Coupe, but did get these 2. https://hosting.photobucket.com/albums/y10/gdspc/Toyota/1967%202000%20GT%201/.highres/P1170246.jpg?width=960&height=720&fit=bounds Yes AA, the later (comp...

Re: Marcel's 1/18 scale collection (Lancia Stratos HF Integrale)

I have the same model by Kyosho. You're absolutely right about the Alitalia livery. Love it. I don't ever remember seeing the Integrale name attached to the Stratos, only to the much later Delta, signifying the high performance versions. Thanks! The name is my mistake, was doing a photo shoot with ...

Re: Marcel's 1/18 scale collection (Alpine Renault A442B)

Next addition is also a quirky car, but a much more famous and well known car, the Lancia Stratos. I own a Stratos Stradale (from Sun Star), but didn't have a rally version yet. It had to be a Kyosho and I have chosen the winning car of the 1977 Monte Carlo Rally (because my other Lancia rally model...

Very cool...always nice to add a Le Mans winner, especially a somewhat different one.
Thanks! I like those Quirky car from the old days, when the regulation weren't as strickt as today, making all the cars in class looking nearly the same.

Re: Random Model Pic of the Day!

I remember that Caddy from Le Mans in the early 2000's. It was slow, but sounded great!

Excellent! Ferraris look great in non-red colors. I especially like that green one (sorry, I am out of touch with modern Ferraris and don't know the specific model).

That is a SF90 Spider in Verde Zeltweg

Re: Marcel's 1/18 scale collection (Alfa Giulia GTAm modifications)

Another model I bought at the Le Mans 24h race from the Spark shop is the Alpine Renault A442B. This particular car is from the 1978 car, which it won. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/53190822359_6519f75b50_k.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/53191216605_2986f5a1a2_k.jpg https://live.stati...

Re: Marcel's 1/18 scale collection (Ferrari 296 GTS)

Thanks! Not new, but a model I did some slight, but very neccessary, modifications on is the OttOmobile Alfa Giulia GTAm. There were some things very wrong with this model, as you can see in the post I made at that time: https://www.diecastsociety.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=8659&start=450#p8356...

Re: Marcel's 1/18 scale collection (Ferrari F12 TDF)

Another BBR Ferrari came in recently. This time not full opening, but a normal resin BBR. I went for the launch specification on this 296 GTS. I think the combination of the blue corsa paint and light interior looks fantastic. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/53158678174_78ee06bd0c_k.jpg https://...

Nice. I also went with a giallo tristrato but the one with the stripe
I have been going back an forth between the one with stripe and without. I like stripes, but I preferred this model with silver wheels. I might add a stripe or tricolore myself at some point.

Re: Random Model Pic of the Day!

I might at some point. The 308GT4 had a V8, though...so not sure the 296 really fits in this family. :scratchhead: I did know that about the Norev 507. I have a couple of their sealed models (Cobra & '69 Corvette are great...993 isn't). Ow yes that's a V8 in there... Forgot about that. :shame: http...

Re: Random Model Pic of the Day!

Lovely pair. I have the same, yet not the same AUTOart Z8 and Norev 507. Very nice. The AA Z8 is better, In my opinion...they got the wheels right. Can't believe I didn't pick that up when they were dirt cheap. Very tempted by the 507 too. The Revell is decent, but it is ancient at this point. http...
