Re: Revised pricing for the Ousia series

I think you have really hard time grasping how price point and profits work. The thing I like tho, is that people are kind of starting to wake up to the fact that the buyer actually dictates the prices, not the manufacturer. Well, I´d like to think I understand . My inital comment about the profit-...

Re: Revised pricing for the Ousia series

The pricing on this series is quite competitive and overall the models look exceptional. Unfortunately their one mistake they keep making models that AUTOart has completed or will complete with opening bits, slow sales might explain the price point move. Yep, very valid point. Makes me think about ...

Revised pricing for the Ousia series

Seems like Kyosho has revised the price-point of their Ousia resin-model series. The earlier models like the Lamborghini Veneno has previously been set at about EUR 300 MSRP. But the recently released Aventador SV is alot better priced for a resin brick at EUR 89. Can´t comment on quality or overall...

Maxichamps...New product line from Minichamps?

It seems like there is a new line of product from Minichamps called Maxichamps. :shame:  All I know is that the pricepoint is very attractive, Cartima sell the first 1/43 scale models at EUR 30. If anyone know more about the brand philosophy or quality of the models. Please Tell! http://www.max...

Re: [2012 - 2016] Paragon News

The BMW M4 is now available with the big wheels in coupe and cabrio versions. Have yet to see one in person but I´m tempted to order one as it looks pretty good to me. EUR 114.95 at CK-Modelcars. Quite a price hike is´nt it? Up like EUR 30 compared to the previous yellow and blue with "small" wheels...

Re: Old Top Gear Crew to start their own online-platform

So I signed up to their mailing list to get some more info about what is to be expected. Earlier today I recieved an e-mail that goes a bit more into the format of Drivetribe. The platform seems to be driven by several personalities that represent different areas of the automotive field. Each having...

Re: Hi Guys, looking for some LED help?

This webshop from Germany specializes in lighting for models. They mainly aim at RC but also stock lighting kits for diecasts. Maybe worth a look. ;)

Re: Kyosho 1:12 LaFerrari – Red

Now, I've not seen this model in person but something certainly looks wierd with the wheels. Esp. The front. Compared with the BBR version that I personally hold as the benchmark LaF in all scales, it clearly differs. Even the Bburago model has better wheel proportions. 1/1 http://image.superstreeto...

Brumm documentary

I found this nice documentary describing the production at italian diecast maker Brumm. In contrast to many other brands they have not outsourced their production to the far-east. Their models are 100% made in Italy and they take a lot of pride in this. Very cool to see the models being made and the...

Re: Post Your Latest NON-DIECAST Purchase

Bought these two recently. Rupes Bigfoot professional paint polishers. The big one is an LHR21 and the small one is an LHR75. Time to get the 1:1 cars to shine. 8-)
