Everything not diecast related; and yes that includes the kitchen sink!

McLaren had the better engine, but Porsche had the better brakes. You can see it outbraking the Mac at every corner.

You can also see the McLaren has the better front end. I agree, Fulgura, this was an epic era. Along with early 90`s DTM.

Regarding the brakes, at Le Mans you want as small ducts as possible to reduce drag, so they often got it wrong and cooked the brakes. Go too far the other direction and you are slow on the straights. Could be that, there must must be something wrong with the brakes on that McLaren.
