TTRS I drive is 6-Speed manual (last of its breed)
yeah no longer available with a manual. I think the BMW and some Porsches are the only options now apart from some Golfs. I don't think any Audi or Mercedes cars come with a manual anymore. Sad
Yes, very sad. Once the Europeans got lazy we were all doomed!

Nice. Here that car is known as an Acura. Can't remember the model name. TL I think. And then you have the TL type S, which had more power, quad exhaust. Great car
True! They are the same cars. Acura TSX. I love the Type-S. But they are still expensive over here.. This is a 2.0L engine. still good for 160hp. :manual:

Nice! Nice only MB or BMW. My Audis and Volkswagne have been great for the most part. Once you go German you never go back :rotfl:
Thnx! Never had any issue with your VW's? Lots of VW or BMW problems overhere... VW is on the 2nd place with most car trouble on the road..

Kraftig, what gas do you put into your Golfs and how often do you change the oil? I have a feeling a lot of the issues are from people cheaping out on gas and not changing oil. For example, Mini recommended 20K intervals for their oil changes for the R56 platform. This resulted in tons of oil starvation cases. Then owners put regular into the cars even though the manual specifically asked for at least 91.

I feel like car-guy-one-owner-from-new cars fared much better

Since the GTI is leased I use regular gas, 2018 is capable of regular. Not sure of long term side effects. As for oil 8000-10000 km. On the flip side, the TTRS is always primo with oil changes completed at end of season 2000-3000 km :)

I've added two more very rare Saab wagons to my fleet to make 3.
cool Saab wagons!

Did you see the 9-3 Turbo X wagon that was on BAT earlier this month? That one looked great! one of only 45 & closed at $22500.

Yeah I saw it. I drove the same car at the dealer in '08 and it was meh. My '09 is much more rare and will have 415hp when done hehe.

I added an interesting car to the stable.

New, manual transmission performance cars. It's slim pickin's in the US.

I was made direct at GM in January. I wanted to reward myself. I have been in the Cadillac studio nearly two years and now in the exterior studio.

Oddly enough, Cadillac makes these two cars, a celebration-farewell to the high performance ice-manual trans cars, the Blackwings.

The 5 Blackwing was bigger than I wanted and more than I wanted to spend.

I went with a 4 Blackwing, 6mt, light on options in Blaze Orange Metallic.

So far I am smitten. Great car. It has a map of my office/facility, the Warren Tech Center as a hidden easter egg. I know the people who worked on this car. It's just cool.

Did I buy it because I am a GM fanboy and got a great discount? Nope. There is NO employee pricing or discounts on Blackwings. I was lucky to get it at MSRP. I simply could not get on board with the styling of the new M3 which also cost over $10k more and is LESS of a drivers car. The Alfa Quad is auto only in the US. This car was pretty much it for me.

I dropped it off immediately at the detailer for paint correction, Expel PPF on the nose and a 4yr ceramic coating.

You actually found a car in stock! Lovely add, not sure if the exterior would be my first choice. :manual:

Great addition! Rare to find a car at all, and one with a manual is even better.

Like the styling quite a bit & the reviews are outstanding.

Ordered and waited 5 months. Any one of these in dealer stock is $10-25k over.

Here are some cleaner pics.

I think it's shameful that brands allow dealers to MU cars based on MSRP no matter the situation. Yes, these are first-world problems, well I believe they are, this is creating a horrible impression on the industry as a whole. This is speaking with both sexes on the topic that aren't considered "car crazy" as people found here.
