Took some time out of my busy schedule to have a movie marathon with a few friends on the weekend and saw Pain and Gain, Wolf of Wall Street, and Safety Not Guaranteed..all were mediocre. I was so disappointed with Wolf of Wall Street. :shame:

I was so disappointed with Wolf of Wall Street.
Really? It wasn't brilliant but it was very good. I was entertained throughout. Also I'd lover 10 minutes with his second wife :poke:

I watched about 10 minutes of "Pain and Gain" and turned it off. Couldn't stand it

It was a really silly movie that's for sure.

I think it would have been better if it wasn't so insanely long. Some scenes were really drawn out..typical Scorsese lol

Generation Iron - I just watched this documentary, one I would recommend. This sport has brought much of discipline and direction to my life.

I finally started watching Game Of Thrones.

I was able to really enjoy the show as I was never ever spoiled which is a chance considering all the talk around the serie. That's why the huge, the MEGA cliffhanger in "The Rains of Castamere" (the famous episode 9 of the season 3) really got me. Disturbing shit, really. :o

I understand you.
Had not been watching this show until this winter.
It got me really hooked and it is the best TV show I have seen to date besides maybe The Wire.
Right now season 4 is going on.
Yesterday's episode wasn't very interesting.
But I hope for something interesting in the next one.
Waiting is a bi*ch.

By the way those of you who love GoT might like above mentioned The Wire. :okay:
It is also HBO's production.
The show isn't quite the same and has totally different atmosphere.
But like GoT the story telling isn't focused on one or two character and is fantastic.
And I think creators of GoT were inspired in a way by The Wire.

I am going to watch these shows next - True Detective and Peaky Blinders.

we're big GOT fans as well. Just watched season 3 on DVD & can't wait to see season 4 (we don't have HBO).

My wife is reading the series right now as well...think she's on book 3?

I'm still shocked! :o

I finally catch up and yeah, last Sunday episode wasn't the best but it sure leads to other big suprises. I can't wait for the ninth episode to see what they will do to shock us again!
I heard a lot about The Wire and I already know the show because Clay Davis and his famous "sh********t!". I prefer not have to several on-going shows at the same time. It's already hard to keep up.

Gavin, I don't know how many books there are or where she is in her reading but careful, last Sunday episode (the fourth) contains big spoilers for the next book. Just in case. ;)

Next one for me, it's 24: Live Another Day!

Ok. The season four is over.
I hope by that time everyone watched the finale so we can discuss.
Entire season did not disappoint at all - it is the best of four so far!
I wonder what will be in season 5.
They killed half the cast by now so probably most action will be around "The Winter" that came.
Anyway the waiting will be a bitch.
