Well today I made it out to Ripley's Aquarium in Toronto. The facility opened up in late October 2013, me being a fish hobbyist for a number of years was sure looking forward to the adventure. Ripley's lived up to all the hype. The trip was an actual work team build, and it was my suggestion we visit the aquarium. Sure received a lot of thanks after the tour, and nice to see many smiling faces... A must visit if you're local. Well enjoy the pics and a videos!

Awesome! I'm looking forward to going sometime. Last time I was in the area it was just finishing construction..gotta love those jellyfish. I forget how much it cost to get in but from what I do remember is that it wasn't cheap.

I want to see more! I can only drop 65 gallon in my office, fit perfectly in a small opening by the door. If I ever renovate the basement I will explore larger options. Do you have any experience with 3D backgrounds?
I've switches species and setups a few times. Lover Parrot fish, Africa Chiclids... I currently have a school of breeding Tropheus, such a beautiful fish. My current setups is the last image with man-made tree structures, quite cool but a bit pricy...

I already have 5 aquariums, 2 25 gallons and one day I had the bright idea to buy me this cute little fish.....
Then the nightmare began.............. he started to grow, grow, grow and grow constantly.
Don't Buy that kind of monster

Re: Ripley's Aquarium - Toronto
No it's not me and a sold it to a chines specialist in Aquarium in Montreal. When he saw the fish, his eyes became very large and I was very happy to see him go with that stupid fish.
This fish was eating 60 medium red fish per week and was so big that the slightest movement in the aquarium the water came out all over the floor.

How big would you estimate the fish grew just before you gave him away?GP246 wrote:No it's not me and a sold it to a chines specialist in Aquarium in Montreal. When he saw the fish, his eyes became very large and I was very happy to see him go with that stupid fish.
