This can't be cheap. Doing the CF pieces yourself?

Very impressive work ! Congrats for having the determination to pursue such a large project, one needs serious skills to do this work, and alot of patience making sure everything is set up properly prior to the CF hardening. It would be interesting know what sort of weight you will exchanging on the car using the CF parts. Looking forward to seeing futher updates on this project !

After driving many years with Honda, i switched to Mercedes-Benz. Owned a 220 CDI estate and a C32 AMG. worst decision ever.. They drive great but to many things break down.. -.-' Not reliable.. So now finally, i am back with Honda Accord from 2004. drives great.

Nice. Here that car is known as an Acura. Can't remember the model name. TL I think. And then you have the TL type S, which had more power, quad exhaust. Great car

Nice! Nice only MB or BMW. My Audis and Volkswagne have been great for the most part. Once you go German you never go back

lol I think you misread his post. He went back to Honda! Tbh after my horrible experience with my technically German Mini, I'm scared to try a german car again. So I hope my japanese one lasts a long time. Although my wife has a Mini (albeit with a different engine) and knock on wood, it's been very reliable so far.

Oh I read it correctly... I will never move to the dark side. Japenese cars have no soulStratosWRC wrote: ↑Wed Mar 25, 2020 2:48 pmlol I think you misread his post. He went back to Honda! you can probably say that about any car noawadays with all the turbocharged engines and auto gearboxes. Even the exhausts with their fake pops all sound the same. And the few exceptions that exist are either expensive (BMW M2 CS) or almost impossible to get even if you have the money (looking at you, Cayman GT4). That's why I like my 86. Back to basics fun and nothing else like it out there.

No, if you do your research there are still some great gems. I'm a little bias I know, but the TTRS I drive is 6-Speed manual (last of its breed) and 2.5T has won more awards than I can count! The daily I love, MKVII Golf GTI, such a blast to drive. Manual too! However, it has so much tech I wish I could delete most of itStratosWRC wrote: ↑Wed Mar 25, 2020 3:36 pmyou can probably say that about any car noawadays with all the turbocharged engines and auto gearboxes. Re: What do you drive ...1:1
I've added two more very rare Saab wagons to my fleet to make 3.
First is Pepper, an '09 9-5 5mt wagon in Pepper Green Metallic. It is the last year it was offered in the US. It is the ONLY 5mt in this color made. It is 1 of 1 and was even granted collectors insurance on it. I am doing a theme like Dodge's Brass Monkey and doing Satin Bronze coated wheels and all chrome will be dipped to match. It will be getting a built motor and all the mods my gray one has. Once completed, the gray one is going to my mechanic in exchange for the labor to build Pepper.
Next up is Snow White, an '10 Saab 9-3x. Only 498 9-3x were made. This is AWD and at the request of other members of my household, an automatic. It is going to have a lowered suspension, Aero seats and a tune. This is going to be for my winter use to replace the gray '06 wagon when it goes.
