Been studying some videos on compositing. Here's my first attempt, it's pretty lame, but I learned a lot in working through how do this image. In this case, I composited in the brick wall behind the car, replacing a black seamless paper background.

Looks good
Re: My first compositing image
Thanks, gents.
It was my first attempt, and it's pretty crude, but I learned a lot about how to think about this, and use the pen tool in PS to creating a selection that allowed the compositing. Still have a long way to go to master this discipline, but you have to start somewhere.

I think this is very good for your first go! I like how the monotonous color flows well with the car. The choice of the grey brick wall does not create a distraction from the car, but rather adds to the image. Well done! Very classy.
Only suggestion is not to crop so tight. Leave a bit of space around the car.

Subject, background, and lighting is nice. I suggest you shot your lens a bit for a better side profile angle.
